Me mostró yhwh a Josué, el sumo sacerdote, que estaba de pie ante el ángel de yhwh, mientras que Satán estaba a su derecha para acusarlo.
2 El ángel de yhwh dijo a Satán:
— Que yhwh te amoneste, Satán; que yhwh que ha elegido a Jerusalén te amoneste. ¿No es acaso este un tizón sacado del fuego?
3 Estaba Josué vestido con ropas sucias de pie en presencia del ángel
— Que yhwh te amoneste, Satán; que yhwh que ha elegido a Jerusalén te amoneste. ¿No es acaso este un tizón sacado del fuego?

4 que se dirigió a los que estaban junto a él y les ordenó:
— Quitadle esas ropas sucias.
A continuación dijo a Josué:
— Mira, te libro de tu pecado y te visto con traje de fiesta.
5 Y añadió:
— Que pongan un turbante limpio sobre su cabeza.
Pusieron, en efecto, sobre su cabeza un turbante limpio y lo revistieron de sus vestiduras. Entonces el ángel de yhwh, que permanecía en pie,
— Quitadle esas ropas sucias.
A continuación dijo a Josué:
— Mira, te libro de tu pecado y te visto con traje de fiesta.
5 Y añadió:
— Que pongan un turbante limpio sobre su cabeza.
Pusieron, en efecto, sobre su cabeza un turbante limpio y lo revistieron de sus vestiduras. Entonces el ángel de yhwh, que permanecía en pie,
6 hizo este pacto con Josué:
7 “Así dice Yhwh Elohim del universo: Si sigues mis caminos y cumples mis preceptos, estarás al cargo de mi Templo, custodiarás mis atrios y te daré un puesto entre los que están a mi servicio”.
8 Escucha, además, sumo sacerdote Josué, tanto tú como los compañeros que se sientan ante ti y que constituyen un presagio profético: Mirad que voy a suscitar a mi siervo Germen.
9 Y ahí está la piedra que pongo ante Josué, una piedra única que tiene siete ojos y sobre la que voy a grabar su inscripción —oráculo de Yhwh Elohim del universo—. En un solo día borraré la iniquidad de esta tierra,
10 y aquel día —oráculo de Yhwh Elohim del universo— os invitaréis unos a otros a la sombra de la parra y de la higuera.
And he [the malach] showed me Yahoshua the Kohen HaGadol standing before the Malach yhwh, and HaSatan standing at his right hand to accuse him.
2 And yhwh said unto HaSatan, yhwh rebuke thee, O HaSatan; even yhwh that hath chosen Yerushalayim rebuke thee. Is not this a brand, a burning stick, snatched out of the eish?
3 Now Yahoshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the malach.
4 And he [the malach] answered and spoke unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, See, I have taken away thine avon (iniquity, guilt) from thee, and I will clothe thee with machalatzot (extra fine, white clothing).
5 And I said, Let them set a tzanif tahor (clean turban, mitznefet, upon his head. So they set a tzanif tahor upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the Malach yhwh stood by.
6 And the Malach yhwh testified unto Yahoshua, saying,
7 Thus saith yhwh Tzva’os: If thou shalt walk in My ways, and if thou shalt keep My charge, then thou shalt also judge My Beis [Hamikdash], and shalt also keep My courts, and I will give thee ways to walk among these standing here.
8 Hear now, O Yahoshua the Kohen HaGadol, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee, for they are Anshei Mofet (men of portent); for, hinei, I will bring forth Avdi Tzemach [My Servant, the Branch i.e., Moshiach Ben Dovid Yahoshua, see Moshiach the new "Joshua"
9 For hinei the even (stone) that I have set before Yahoshua; upon one even (stone) shall be shivah einayim (seven eyes); hineni, I will engrave the inscription thereof, saith yhwh Tzva’os, and I will remove the avon (iniquity, guilt) of that land in Yom Echad.
10 In Yom HaHu, saith yhwh Tzva’os, shall ye invite every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.
